1.
Precision-wound resistance wire.
  Nickel-chromium wire is sized by computer program and precisely wound to provide the exact heat required. The wire is washed and baked to eliminate contamination and give the user a longerlived heater.

Several tests during production guarantee final resistance within specified tolerances.

Selected weld connection
  The wire-to-pin connection is made by one of several welding techniques selected for optimum life for the heater size and rating.
3.
High dielectric insulation
  The resistance wire assembly is centered into the heater sheath and electrically insulated with magnesium oxide powder. The purity of this powder is critical to heater life.

This insulation is compacted to a predetermined density when the unit diameter is reduced by swaging. This increases its excellent dielectric strength and greatly improves its thermal conductance. Bends are recompacted to eliminate potential insulation breaks.

Standard Sheath Material
  Stainless Steel is available on standard units. Special sheath materials like Incoloy and Inconel are also available to meet abnormal temperature, corrosion and atmospheric condition of your application. For further details contact our Delhi Office.

Silicone-sealed stud terminal
  Threaded stud terminals provide quick easy wiring. Silicone rubber seals protect against moisture absorption during storage. Ceramic insulators assure the isolation of the terminal hardware from the sheath.

  Hot-Temp Process heaters undergo more test, at more stages of production than other manufacturers believe necessary. This detects faults as soon as possible and aids our extensive R & D to continually improve our materials and techniques.

Safety
The heating coil is electrically insulated from the tube by fused MgO compressed under high pressure. This ensures that at no stage can the coil transfer current on to the machine. A tight connection box is provided for the safety of the operators.
The heating coil is merely suspended on ceramic discs. Uninsulated bare coils carry 440 Volts A.C .Whenever a coil wire breaks, it can transfer current on to the machine and give fatal shocks to the operators. Likewise, since there is no Terminal Box, loose & open connections may lead to mishaps.
Electricity Consumption
The electrical properties of all heaters are vigorously tested. The hallmark of HOT TEMP tubular design is accuracy and consistency throughout the life span of the heater. Superfluous burning of electricity is thereby prevented and saving in terms of electricity consumption is thereby assured.
Open coils have a tendency to get oxidized when heated in air resulting in frequent breaking of the coil. Everytime a coil is repaired by cutting the burnt ends and twisting them together, the WATTAGE of the coil increases. Moreover, there are no reliable sources of open coil available because of which consistency in terms of wattage and quality cannot be guaranteed. All this results in unnecessarily high Electricity Consumption.
Durability
The center rod and supporting discs are made from 2.5mm thick SS-304 sheet. This prevents breakage and decomposition of the frame.

The heater is sealed from both the ends to restrict moisture, thus preventing oxidation and ensuring longer life of the heater.
The supporting discs and the center rod shell are ceramic based. The basic property of ceramics makes the frame brittle and fragile and breakage occurs frequently.

The heating coil is always exposed to the atmosphere and gets oxidized continuously. This contributes to the shortened life of the heater.
Productivity
The heaters carry a ONE YEAR WARRANTY and are hence reliable. Heater failure is a rare phenomenon and can be predicted to some extent. Our preventive maintenance system can help bring heater failure rate to zero.
