Electro Heat Engineers offers an innovative solution
to one of the biggest challenges faced by Corrugated
Box Manufacturers - Drying of finished Boxes.
With the opening up of the economy and an invasion
of MNCs, quality parameters have attained a new
high. The bursting strength of any box has a direct
link to the percentage of moisture in the box.
The process of box manufacturing contrarily increases
the moisture level significantly because of the
pasting process. Water contact during this pasting
process of corrugated sheets is unavoidable.
The best and the most common practice being followed
till now by box manufacturers is natural drying.
This, as everyone is aware, has many limitations.
In dry and hot weather it is possible to use this
conventional method but not without the involvement
of large open spaces and huge labour costs. In
rainy season or cold weather, natural drying becomes
impractical. Also, it is not possible to get uniformity
in different weather conditions or with different
qualities of paper, varying flute sizes, ply number,
etc.
The Box Drying Machine is developed by Electro
Heat Engineers keeping all such limitations in
mind.
The Box Drying machines
are of two types:
SBLQ SERIES
This machine is capable
of handling small boxes in large quantities. It
is conveyorised and provided with optimum temperature
controls, racks, etc. Box quantities in excess
of 6000 in 10 hours with a maximum weight of 1
Kg per box can be dried in this Series. It is
available in 3 capacities indicating moisture
quantity .in kilogr, ams the machine can eliminate.
For e.g. SBLQ 200 can reduce moisture leve1 of
2 tons of boxes by 10% in 10 hours or of 4 tons
of boxes by 5% in 10 hours.
LBSQ SERIES
This machine is capable of handling large boxes
in small quantities. It is manual and provided
with optimum temperature controls, trolley, etc.
This Series can dry quantities up to 2500 boxes
in 10 hours with weight per box exceeding 1 Kg.
It is available in 3 capacities like SBLQ.
In addition, the machine can be designed as per
specific requirements of the box manufacturer
and can be offered with alternative fuels.
